EUCO 2008 London

…the hard way!

Avoid long queues - make sure you arrive at EUCO 2008 with your E-Ticket and PhotoID.

I’m busy packing today, and soon you will be to (if you’re not in London already!!).

It can sometimes be tricky to know what to pack for EUCO, especially if it’s your first time. To help you we’ve put together a list of things you need to pack.

From some of the enquiries we’ve received in the last few days, I wanted to point out the following important stuff:

• Towels - if you’re staying at one of our hostels, bring a towel
• Gala Ball - this is a black tie event, read more about Black Tie (for men) on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_tie), the corresponding dress code for women is Evening Gown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evening_gown) - or even possibly Cocktail Dress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocktail_dress)

Last but not least, you need to pack your EUCO 2008 E-Ticket (log in to your profile and print it off today) and Photo ID (like a passport, national ID card or photo drivers licence).

It’s 8am on Wed 23 Apr 2008, that means in exactly 7 days and 0 hours EUCO 2008 will start with onsite checkin for the four night packages (like Platinum, Silver). Seven more sleeps to go…

PS Have you printed your EUCO 2008 E-Ticket yet?

Every delegate will need to produce a form of Photo ID when they check-in for EUCO 2008.

What does this mean? In order to complete onsite check-in and receive your EUCO 2008 delegate badge, sightseeing pack and delegate bag - you will need to produce some form of identity document that shows your photograph and your name. Additionally, if you are on a Platinum or Gold package, the hostel staff will also need to see yout PhotoID.

Documents that will be accepted include:

• National Passports (all non-UK will need these to enter the UK!)
• National ID/Identity Document
• Drivers Licence with Photo

Even UK delegates will have to provide Photo ID (so a passport or drivers licence will be easiest).

The PhotoID check will enable our registration staff to verify that the package registered and purchased on the website can be given to the correct people. It also ensures that your package will not be given out to anyone else but you.

The quickest and easiest way to checkin for EUCO 2008 - show your E-Ticket and PhotoID.
